Custom Plant Species Management
Now you can create and manage your own custom plant species alongside the standard global list. A new Settings page provides full add/edit/delete capability for custom species, while the built-in global species remain available and read-only.
What Changed?
- Previously, accounts were limited to the system-maintained species list with no way to add their own
- Navigate to Setup > More > Plant Species page
- Two-tab layout: Custom Species (account's own, fully editable) and Global Species (read-only reference)
- Custom species appear in all plant dropdowns alongside global species
- Each account's custom species are private -- other accounts cannot see or use them
- Deleting a custom species that is assigned to existing plants is blocked with a clear error message
