While using SingleOps you will find that if you have your location settings turned on it will be extremely helpful particularly for the routing functionality in the application.
SingleOps uses the location set on the browser for multiple purposes. It is particularly beneficial for route planning, job entry and timesheets. If locations services are turned off you can still use these features within SingleOps but you will not receive the full benefit.
For example, on the job entry page when you are entering your customer's address, if your location services are not turned on, the map may not center in the right place. It may not show the estimated distance between the customer visit address and the operation address if the map isn't working efficiently due to the location being off.
Similarly, if you are scheduling a route for your drivers but your location services are off then the map won't function optimally. You can still schedule the route but won't be able to schedule taking into consideration the location of the customer's address and how long it may take your driver to get from one job site to the next.
