Release Note | 3.6.2025

After weeks of testing and improvements, today marks the release of Tree Inventory in SingleOps, providing tree care businesses with a more efficient way to track trees, build proposals, and document work history! We encourage you to visit our Help Center article, and watch our video demonstration to help you get familiar with this feature. This release also includes an upgrade to the Timesheet Totals report. Here are the details:

What’s New?

Tree Inventory - enhancing job site mapping, allowing arborists to inventory trees directly from the field, improving proposal accuracy and long-term client management. We are excited to gather your feedback on the experience as we expand Beta to all customers.

  • Tag Trees on the Map – Sales arborists can drop pins on the property map to document individual trees while onsite. (Workflow: Proposal > Add Client Information > ‘Click’ Go to Map or ‘Add Tree to the Map’)
  • Build a Complete Tree Profile – Each tree now has a dedicated profile to store species, DBH, health score, and custom notes.
  • Assign Work & Prebuilt Items or Item Groups – Easily add individual services or prebuilt items or item groups (e.g.,  an item for pruning or an item group for plant health care treatments) to trees while building proposals.
  • Trees on the Client Proposal and Crew Work Orders - Show your clients the trees you’ve inventoried on their property and the correlating work line items that you’re proposing. Once accepted, the map with the pin of the trees will appear on the crew work order.
  • Track Tree Work History – Once a proposal sent with line items for a tree and work is completed, that history is automatically logged into the tree profile for future reference when building proposals.
  • Tree Inventory Report  – Generate a detailed, exportable list of all trees across all client properties, including species, DBH, and health scores. This helps businesses proactively access their tree data, unlocking a variety of use-cases, including marketing services based on tree types, conditions. Note: Work history is not included in this report.

Other Updates - improving the Timesheets Totals report and improving QuickBooks Online syncing to SingleOps.

  • QBO Sync Reauthorization - If you’re syncing SingleOps to QuickBooks Online, you’ll see a banner in SingleOps prompting you to reauthorize your sync. We’ve made back-end upgrades to how SingleOps syncs to QBO, so in order for those improvements to take place, you’ll need to reauthorize. It should take no more than 2 minutes. Please reach out to Support if you encounter any issues at all.
  • New Operations Column on the Timesheet Totals Report - We’re adding a new column to the Timesheet Totals report that will allow you to see time now by Operation (e.g., General tree, PHC, Landscape Maintenance).
