Release Note | 2.6.2025

Today we are excited to announce improvements to SingleOps that are now available in your system that will help you navigate SingleOps easier, save you time while performing critical tasks, and improve the experience of viewing SingleOps on mobile.

Improvements available now:

  1. Remove global headers from standard template PDFs - We’ve added a new setting to document templates that provides you more control over the look and feel of your customer-facing PDF documents. This setting can help cut down on PDF lengths as it removes the header from appearing on every page of the PDF.
  2. Guardrail that Proposal must be Accepted before allowing prepayment - We’ve introduced a guardrail to ensure that proposals are accepted in SingleOps before your client is allowed to provide prepayment for a job via the Client Portal. With this, it will always ensure that the proper workflows are followed and your client is submitting payment only once they’ve signed and agreed to the proposal.
  3. Customizable Client Portal line item name, description, and price - We’ve added some extra customization to remove / hide the name, description and price for line items on the invoice preview page.

Items in Beta Testing (and wider release TBD):

  1. Tree Inventory: We are testing a basic version of tree inventory with a smaller group of businesses. Right now you can add a tree to a client’s property map on proposals, add & edit details to that tree (e.g., species, DBH, and notes), delete trees and you can also add items to that tree on proposals. Check out the Tree Inventory article in our Help Center for more details.
      • This week, we’re shipping a couple of updates to the beta group:
          • A new “Tree Inventory Report” that pulls the full list of trees that your business has taken inventory of on clients’ properties. This report will help you filter by tree species, customer, location, and more, giving you quick access to information that you can use to market specific services to customers.
      • If you are interested in testing tree inventory and giving us feedback, please contact me at rrinaldi@singleops.com.

As always, if you have any feedback on these changes, please feel free to reach out. Have a great week!
