Tree Inventory allows you to add a tree(s) to a client’s property map on proposals, add details to that tree (e.g., species, DBH, and notes), view history, and you can also add Items to that tree on proposals.

Add Trees to the Map
- Navigate to the Jobs page.
*Note: To view, add, or edit trees, ensure the Job has a previously created client and valid location specified. - Under the Estimate table, click the + Add Tree Via Map (or Go to Map button, next to the General Markers tab, click the Trees tab)
- In the right hand corner of the map, click Add Tree
- Mark the tree by clicking directly onto the map. A tree pin will appear over top of selected tree.
- Fill out the tree's info:

- Plant Species - from the dropdown, select the species of plant/tree.
- Mark color
- Location - description of where the tree is located, address, coordinates, etc.
- Notes - hazards, things to be cautious of, near by structures, etc.
- DBH (Inches) - enter diameter at breast height in inches
- Health % - enter qualitative health score in percentage

- Click Save at the bottom. The tree will save to the map. Repeat these steps as many times as needed. All trees associated to this property will display under the Trees tab.
- Click each tree listed on the left hand side to open tree's details. Each tree's details will display under the Details tab. Edit Details if necessary.
- Click Add Item or Add Item Group to add an Item(s) or an Item Group(s) to this tree. Fill out Item info:
Item/Item Group Select an Item or Item Group such as a chemical application, etc. (these Items are preset, you can set these in your account settings) Description Enter application instructions, hazards, etc. Qty Enter quantity of Item. (Applicable for Item, only.) Unit Price Enter unit price. (Applicable for Item, only.) Total Total will populate after Qty and Unit Price are entered. (Applicable for Item, only.) - Click Save at the bottom. Items/Item Groups will list under the Items tab.
- Under the the Tree History tab will display past completed Job Items that have been performed on this particular tree - completion date with details.
- Once you are finished adding all trees and Items, click Save & Return to Job. All Items will be added to the Estimate table on the Jobs page.
The Tree column on the Estimate table on the Jobs page will tie existing Line Items to one or more trees. This will allow estimators to add Items to existing trees (from a dropdown list) and will help sales arborists build proposals more quickly when visiting clients’ properties.
All marked trees + each tree's info will display on both the proposal and work order PDF for your client and crew to see.
Tree Inventory Report
The Tree Inventory Report pulls the full list of trees that your business has taken inventory of on clients’ properties. This report will help you filter by tree species, customer, location, and more, giving you quick access to information that you can use to market specific services to clients.
Navigate to Reports > Tree Inventory
Remove the Tree Inventory Feature From Your Account
- Navigate to Setup > Account Settings
- From the blue menu, click Features
- Toggle NO next to Enable Tree Inventory
- When finished, click Update Settings
