Today we are excited to announce improvements to SingleOps that are now available in your system that will help you navigate SingleOps easier, save you time while performing critical tasks, and improve the experience of viewing SingleOps on mobile.
Improvements available on Jan 23, 2025.

New and Improved ProPay Reporting, in SingleOps! Historically, you have had to access a dedicated ProPay Portal outside of SingleOps to manage your account, manage account funding, access documents and chargebacks, and pull reports on payments processed via ProPay. This update will bring all of that functionality and control into SingleOps, accessible via the Setup tab (Setup > Payments > Payments Setup > Account Management). This new portal will allow you to manage all aspects of SingleOps Payments without leaving our platform. (Check out this video overview).

Adding Comments to Communication History - In Q4 2024, we introduced the “Communications History” field below the Client Name on the Invoices page. We’re adding client comments to appear in this history dropdown for you to see notes / comments from this screen. With this release, you will also be able to add comments to the communications history from this page.
For more information about this feature and all other Invoices page functions, see the Invoices Page article. -
Button Consolidation on Client details page: The Client details page has too many buttons with too many colors. We’re consolidating these buttons for a cleaner UX, especially on mobile.
-
Adding Deposit Filters on the Invoices pages: We’re adding a new filter to the Invoices page, the ability to filter by deposit status on a job. Now you will be able to see these details without leaving the invoices page.
Find more information about these deposit filters and all other filters on the Invoices page in the Invoices Page article. - Adding Apply Deposit action to Invoices page: It's currently very difficult for you to tell whether or not there is a deposit associated with a job/invoice and whether or not that deposit has been applied. There's also no quick way to apply a deposit manually in cases where that's relevant. So, we’re adding the “Apply Deposit” button to the action items on the Invoices page.

Updating QB Ignore Functionality: Currently when you go into the QBO error report, users seem to be using the “Ignore” button to clear out errors but they are unknowingly permanently ignoring the items for later syncing. This has been causing issues, since users don't realize that it causes future problems and not just removes them from the report. Our solution to this is to change the Ignore button to say Clear which would set the errored entity back to an unsynced status and clear out the entity from the QBO error report. This way it doesn't impact future syncing and allows you to still continue to clear out unwanted items from the report.
For more information about each QBO error code and best practices for resolving each, see the QuickBooks Status Code Reference Guide article. -
Updating Statuses on Proposal Groups: Proposal statuses work for other job types already, but not yet for proposal groups. We’re updating the system to reflect the following status logic:
-
- If a proposal type email has not been sent for the proposal group AND has not been sent for any of the individual proposals, status shows as “not sent.”
- If a proposal type email has been sent for the proposal group OR has been sent for all of the individual proposals, the status shows as” sent”.
- If a proposal type email has viewed the proposal in the public present proposal page, the status shows as "viewed".

Items in Beta Testing (and wider release TBD)
-
Tree Inventory: We are testing a basic version of tree inventory with a smaller group of businesses. Right now you can add a tree to a client’s property map on proposals, add details to that tree (e.g., species, DBH, and notes), and you can also add items to that tree on proposals.
- This week, we’re shipping a couple of updates to the beta group:
-
- Edit/delete line items from trees
- Delete a tree
- Show trees on work order + proposal
- Angled map fix (the view will now be from directly above the property)
- Minor Bug fixes
-
- If you are interested in testing tree inventory and giving us feedback, please contact me at rrinaldi@singleops.com.
- This week, we’re shipping a couple of updates to the beta group:
As always, if you have any feedback on these changes, please feel free to reach out. Have a great week!
