Release Note | 8.1.2024

Happy August! Today, we are writing to notify you of some exciting product updates to SingleOps. This week we are releasing the following minor improvements:

1. Adding the total $ amount scheduled to Week & Month views on Calendar.
   Your feedback was clear: you need to be able to see the total value they have scheduled out over the next week or next month on the Calendar. We have now added totals on the day, week and month calendar views.
2. Change text on the recurring job table (to improve how the job is estimated).
   Feedback was that estimators have had a hard time understanding the difference between “per visit” and “contract total” mistaking one for the other. Estimators often choose “per visit” and then end up creating a proposal that is 5x more expensive than intended. We’ve changed “per visit” to “Apply all items to each visit” and we’ve changed “Contract Total” to “Specify items for each visit.” This new text will be more clear for the estimator for this required button.
3. Change text on filter buttons - “Save Default Filters” and “Clear Default Filters” on Jobs Pages.
   We are simplifying to “Save Filters” and “Clear Filters” and removing the “Reset Filters” button to provide more clear direction to the user, as the current terminology is hard to understand.
4. Make the option to send a copy of the accepted proposal checked by default.
   When Clients are accepting digital proposals, they have to check this box if they want to receive a copy. We are changing it to automatically default that the client receives a copy for record keeping & receipt purposes.
