Release Note | 7.1.2024

As part of our effort to make SingleOps easier to navigate, and more efficient to use, we are continuing with our bi-weekly product release cadence. Below, we highlight our updates this week - which come a couple of days early due to the July 4th holiday. As always, you can expect a bi-weekly update via Release Notes (in the SingleOps Help Center) going forward (next expected July 17th, 2024).

Following our Release on June 20th, we have made the following updates as a result of customer feedback:

  1. Rich Text Editing on Job Notes - We received feedback that Rich Text Editing defaulted to double spaced notes. We have fixed that and now single spacing is the default experience. We have also fixed bugs related to making Rich Text Editing super easy to use and add to your notes experience both for your crew/s and your clients.

This week, we’re excited to share the following updates to SingleOps:

  1. Client Page Redirect -  Previously, when you navigate to a job from the Client’s page, edit it, and save it, you’d be redirected to the Active Jobs page. We have updated the system to navigate you back to where you were prior to editing the job: the Client’s page that you were previously viewing.
  2. Prepay QB Guardrails - When syncing deposits over to Quickbooks, it requires that an “Other Current Liabilities” account be set up. In order to reduce QB sync errors on your end, we have put guardrails in place so you will not be able to create a job with deposits unless you have properly set up Prepay Items in Settings.
